More info…..

Bluegrass and Western Swing music share similar roots in that they were both developed around the same time period (30’s and 40’s).  Both styles and are firmly rooted in the family of American Country Music, both styles are upbeat, feature stringed instruments,  and  “Country flavored” lyrical themes.

Through their years of performance Mike and Roger noticed that the two styles of music also share the same fans. They observed that most all the folks who love Bluegrass also love String Swing and Western Swing, they just don’t often get a chance to hear it. Recognizing this tragedy,  🙂  they decided to put together a band that reflects both styles for the purpose sharing the music with the audiences they serve.
